NACEP Awards Secondary Scholarships for 2025 National Conference in Los Angeles

NACEP is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Secondary Scholarship, supporting four outstanding secondary professionals to attend the upcoming NACEP National Conference, “Lights, Camera, Access,” in Los Angeles, California, October 26–28, 2025.

The scholarship recipients were selected through a competitive application process. Reviewers considered each applicant’s involvement in concurrent enrollment programs, their efforts to strengthen and improve those programs, collaboration with postsecondary partners, and demonstrated financial need.

“These scholarships are part of our ongoing commitment to ensure that voices from the K–12 side of concurrent enrollment are present, supported, and elevated at the national level,” said Amy Williams, Executive Director of NACEP. “Secondary professionals are vital partners in dual enrollment, and we’re proud to help remove barriers so they can access high-quality professional development and connect with peers across the country.”

Each scholarship includes complimentary registration for the 2025 National Conference and conference hotel accommodations, allowing recipients to fully engage in the nation’s premier convening for dual and concurrent enrollment professionals.

Congratulations to the 2025 Secondary Scholarship recipients:

  • Alexis Corral, Concurrent Enrollment/College Counselor, Vista Ridge High School
  • Rachel Steil, Career Pathways & Concurrent Enrollment Coordinator, Stillwater Area High School
  • Amie Capodanno, Early College Program Manager, Waltham High School
  • Chad Uhiren, Director of CTE & Special Programs, Lakeland School System

We look forward to welcoming these dedicated educators to Los Angeles in October and celebrating their continued impact in the field.
