NACEP’s Board of Directors engaged in a series of meetings to review and revise the organization’s strategic plan in early 2021. Members of NACEP and the dual and concurrent enrollment community at large provided feedback and insights through a series of surveys and interviews to help inform the Board’s discussions. The synthesis of the community input and Board discussions led to a revised Mission and Vision, the addition of organizational values, and four areas of work to move the organization forward.
The resulting framework, Vision 2025, outlines a path for NACEP’s work in the coming years.
Vision: NACEP works towards a future where all secondary students will have equitable access to quality college courses to support their postsecondary goals.
Mission: NACEP works towards our vision by advancing a national community to foster equity in dual and concurrent enrollment through accreditation, advocacy, research, and professional development.
Values: In pursuit of our mission, NACEP will not compromise our focus on access, community, education, equity, and excellence.
Areas of Work: NACEP will align, support, and engage the field by focusing its work in four areas:
- Professional Development
- State and Federal Policy and Advocacy
- Standards and Accreditation
We hope you will join us as we work towards Vision 2025!
