Commission Record of Decisions April 2022

In accordance with NACEP's commitment to public disclosure and the Accreditation Commission's Policy and Procedures Manual, this Record of Decision documents the formal actions taken by the NACEP Accreditation Commission at its spring meeting on April 19, 2022, with regard to concurrent enrollment programs that applied for NACEP accreditation during the 2021-22 application cycle.

PROGRAMS GRANTED INITIAL ACCREDITATION

The following programs were found to be in compliance with all 16 of NACEP's accreditation standards and were granted initial accreditation for a period of five academic years:

Bemidji State University (MN)

Central Washington University (WA)

Grand Rapids Community College (MI)

Ivy Tech Community College (IN)

Johnson County Community College (KS)

Northland Community and Technical College (MN)

Pine Technical and Community College (MN)

Rochester Community and Technical College (MN)

Snow College (UT)

Spartanburg Community College (SC)

St. Cloud Technical & Community College (MN)

University of Findlay (OH)

University of Pittsburgh (PA)

West Georgia Technical College (GA)

Whatcom Community College (WA)

Wytheville Community College (VA)

PROGRAMS GRANTED RE-ACCREDITATION

The following programs currently holding NACEP accreditation were found to be in compliance with all 16 of NACEP's accreditation standards and were granted renewed accreditation for a period of seven academic years:

Everett Community College (WA)

Idaho State University (ID)

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College (PA)

University of Connecticut (CT)

University of Minnesota Crookston (MN)

University of Washington (WA)

West Kentucky Community and Technical (KY)

 

PROGRAM GRANTED ACCREDITATION AFTER A DEFERMENT:

The following program submitted for NACEP accreditation in the 19-20 cycle and were found to be in compliance with all 16 of NACEP's accreditation standards. The program was granted the initial accreditation period of 5 years:

Hocking Community College (OH)

 

PROGRAM GRANTED RE-ACCREDITATION AFTER ONE-YEAR EXTENSION WITH SITE VISITS

The following program submitted for NACEP accreditation in the 19-20 cycle and were found to be in compliance with all 16 of NACEP's accreditation standards. The program was granted the re-accreditation period of 7 years:

Iowa Western Community College (IA)

 

PROGRAMS GRANTED A DEFER

The following programs were found to be in compliance with the majority of NACEP's 16 accreditation standards and were granted a deferment of the to address those concerns with monitoring by the Accreditation Commission:

Bethel University (MN)

Centralia College (WA)

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (FL)

To earn full accreditation, the programs must demonstrate significant progress on one or more unmet standards by December 2022, and submit all final evidence demonstrating consistent implementation of the identified standards by March 2023.

 

PROGRAM NOT GRANTED INITIAL ACCREDITATION

The following program failed to demonstrate that they are in compliance with all 16 of NACEP's accreditation standards and their application for initial accreditation was denied:

Mid-Plains Community College (NE)

 

APPEALS

Within sixty (60) days after receiving notification of an adverse accrediting action, a concurrent enrollment program may request reconsideration of or appeal any decision of the Accreditation Commission.

Commissioners recused themselves from specific votes in accordance with the Commission's conflict of interest policy.
