On November 18, 2014, the New England Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NEACEP) hosted a day of professional development, The New NEASC Standards for Dual Enrollment: Understanding the Impact for Our Colleges, at Nashua Community College in Nashua, New Hampshire.
This day of professional development was designed to further understand the new standard for dual enrollment programs that was adopted in March 2014 by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Patricia O’Brien, from NEASC presented on the new standards and how colleges and universities should prepare for compliance. Additionally, Adam Lowe, Executive Director of the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), discussed how alignment with the NACEP standards can assist programs to optimize program quality and be in alignment with requirements by our regional accreditation body.
