There are three main airports servicing the Washington DC area: Reagan International, Baltimore-Washington International and Dulles International.

From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (about 21 minutes)

Take George Washington Memorial Parkway and I-395 North to D Street NW in Washington. Take exit 9 from I-395 N. Continue on D. Street NW to your destination.

Transit Option: The airport Metro stop is on the Blue and Yellow Lines. The closest stop to the hotel is Union Station is on the Red Line, which requires a transfer. If you want to walk further (3/4 mile) the closest Yellow Line stop is Archives-Navy Memorial.

To catch a taxi, look for the official taxi stand outside of baggage claim. A ride into downtown DC will cost about $15-$20.

From Washington Dulles Airport (about 1 hour)

Take VA-267 E, 495 Express Lanes/Capital Beltway Outer Loop/Interstate 495 High Occupancy Toll and I-395 North to VA-27 N/S. Washington Blvd. in Arlington. Take exit 8B from I-395 N. Get on I-395 from Boundary Channel Drive. Continue on I-395 N to Washington. Take exit 9 from I-395 N. Your destination is 400 New Jersey Avenue NW.

Transit Option: Washington Flyer offers a Silver Line Express Bus that drops off at the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail station about 15 minutes away. Silver Line Express Bus fare is $5 for one way. Purchase tickets inside the airport at Arrivals Door 4.

The closest train stop to the hotel is Union Station is on the Red Line, which requires a transfer. If you want to walk further (1 mile) the closest Silver Line stop is Federal Center Southwest.

Washington Flyer taxi cabs exclusively service Dulles Airport. Taxi stands are located outside the main terminal at Door 2 and Door 6. A ride into DC will cost about $60-$68.

From Baltimore-Washington International Airport (about 1 hour)

Get on MD-198 W/Laurel Fort Meade Rd. Take ramp to left for MD-295 S, after 15 miles the road will change to DC-295 S.At exit 18-C, take ramp to the right for I-695 toward Downtown. Take ramp to the right for D Street NW toward US Capitol. Keep straight onto Mitch Snyder Pl. NW/2nd St. NW. Turn right onto E Street NW. Turn right onto New Jersey Avenue NW.

Transit Option: BWI Airport is accessible via an Amtrak train route that drops off at DC’s Union Station. A reserved seat on the train will cost $15-$30. Visit the BWI Airport ground transportation page for more information.

In addition, the MARC commuter train runs on the Penn Line. Get off at the Union Station exit at 50 Massachusetts Avenue NE.
