  • Distinguishes a CEP, thereby enhancing its ability to recruit new partners and students.
  • Aids CEP alumni and families when they seek credit recognition for their CEP-earned college credits.
How to Apply for NACEP Accreditation
NACEP is an accrediting organization of CEP programs. NACEP Standards are measurable criteria of CEP elements that are the basis of quality programs. College or University CEP programs that wish to receive NACEP accreditation should review the documents below.

Outlining a national agenda for strengthening accelerated learning programs, the authors of the 2006 report "Postcards from the Margin: A National Dialogue on Accelerated Learning" recommend that accrediting bodies such as NACEP take the lead in developing and promoting "a cohesive set of regionally and nationally recognized quality assurance standards for all accelerated learning options" (p. 9).
