Shape the future of concurrent enrollment through service on the Board of Directors of the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) or on the NACEP Accreditation Commission. Any staff or faculty who work for a postsecondary institution with a NACEP-accredited concurrent enrollment program is eligible for Board or Commission service.
NACEP's 15 member Board of Directors sets policy and provides strategic direction for the organization, providing national leadership opportunities for members. Seven of the Director positions are elected by the designated representatives of NACEP-accredited programs.
NACEP's 12-member Accreditation Commission manages the accreditation peer-review process, makes accreditation decisions, and adopts accreditation-related policies. Eight of the Commissioner positions are elected by the designated representatives of NACEP-accredited programs.

During summer 2018 NACEP will hold elections for two positions on the Board of Directors:
To be nominated as President-elect, the individual must have prior service on the NACEP Board. The positions start on November 6, 2018. Nominations are now closed. Electronic ballots will be distributed to the designated voting representative of all NACEP-accredited programs in late July.
|NACEP Accreditation Commission
The 2019 elections for the Accreditation Commission elections will run in February. The following elected positions start in April 2019.
Board members and Commissioners are expected to attend two meetings per year, one in the spring and the second in conjunction with NACEP's national conference. Winter and summer electronic meetings and conference calls are regularly held, as are other virtual meetings throughout the year. NACEP pays for one night of lodging, lunches, and one dinner for Directors and Commissioners to attend meetings. Members' institutions are expected to cover all travel and the remainder of lodging and meals.
A Call for Nominations will be sent and applications will be accepted online. Both the Board of Directors and the Accreditation Commission have Nominating Committees who review the qualifications of all completed nominations prior to approving the names appearing on the ballot. You are encouraged to talk with any member of the Nominating Committee if you are considering submitting your name for the ballot or interested in serving on the Board of Directors or Accreditation Commission in an elected or appointed position at a future date.
