Agenda
Join us for two days of sessions on the latest innovations and practices in concurrent enrollment. The Southeast Regional Conference will give education leaders from our Southeast states a chance to network with each other and exchange ideas with the region’s concurrent enrollment experts.
NACEP In-conference Advising Workshop
As the number of students participating in dual enrollment courses continues to increase, the supports provided to these students have rightly gained increased attention. In response, NACEP’s Accreditation Commission revised the 2017 accreditation standards to include an explicit section on student advising. The rationale behind the revision is to ensure that accredited programs are providing students access to this critical service. This full-day workshop is specifically designed to provide programs at all levels valuable lessons and information related to student advising that can be incorporated into their existing student supports. The program will motivate the topic by discussing the need for student advising within concurrent and dual enrollment programs as it directly relates to the student experience and success. Topics covered will include program implementation and structure, advisor expectations, training and functions. The NACEP Advising Workshop is being run as part of the Southeast Conference on March 12th. You must register for the conference in order to sign-up for this exciting free in-conference event. If you have already registered for the conference and wish to add this to your registration, please email information@nacep.org.  Space is limited.
