NACEP Webbytes: Collaboration in Little Rock
October 24 @ 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Join us for this NACEP Webbyte on the benefits of an Advisory Committee and collaboration with your partners. The accreditation process sheds light on program strengths and weaknesses. In an effort to strengthen a growing program and bolster communication and efficiency highlighted in student, partnership, and program evaluation standards, University of Arkansas Little Rock staff assigned a Concurrent Enrollment Advisory Committee in 2016. The original committee comprised of CE staff and three campus coordinators. The committee analyzed weaknesses and strengths and implemented changes throughout the program to combat threats and capitalize on opportunities. Added to their efforts, the program offers a TROJANATION day on campus for all 10th- 12th graders and offers on-sight application and registration events to build the relationship between partners, stakeholders, parents, and students. The committee has since grown and works to steer the program by revisiting the original purpose and continually seeks to improve processes and communication. We hope you will join!
