Connecting Spaces: Developing Collaborative Curricula between High School and College English Teachers Webinar (Members Only)
September 21 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
As more universities offer dual credit programs to fulfill college composition requirements, there is concern that even the best run among them struggle to address equity of access. At four schools in Washington State that offer University of Washington in the High School English courses, less than 6% of low income students enroll in them. This webinar will describe a two-year College Spark Washington grant-funded partnership between university and high school teachers to address the challenge of preparing 10th and 11th grade students for future success in college-in-the-high school writing courses. We will describe the supplemental materials that we collaboratively developed and share assessment results. Please join us for this insightful webinar.
