2018 Washington Policy Seminar
May 23, 2018 - May 24, 2018
Join NACEP colleagues in networking with national education policy experts and learning about current policies and legislation affecting concurrent and dual enrollment programs. This two-day seminar will feature presentations and discussions with key policymakers from DC-based education associations, federal agencies, Congressional offices, and education advocates. The seminar will include activities and updates from NACEP's partners in the College in High School Alliance.
The event will feature briefings on the latest news in Congress and the U.S. Department of Education and NACEP's work with the College in High School Alliance on policy advocacy. Speakers and panel discussions will include policy experts from other national education organizations, congressional staff, and officials from the U.S. Department of Education. Time will be reserved Thursday afternoon for individuals interested in visiting their Congressional delegation. NACEP can help you organize legislative meetings if needed.

- Thursday, May 24:
- 8:30-Noon: Seminar, including Congressional Briefing
- Noon-5pm: Optional Legislative Visits
Price of event:
- Members: $150
- Non-members: $200
- The seminar will meet on Capitol Hill. The hotel is the Hyatt Place, 33 New York Avenue, NE, Washington, DC. Click here for the special NACEP room rate of $259 pre-tax. If you register and are unable to attend, you may substitute another person in your place.
Notice of conference registration cancellation must be received by May 9, 2018. All registration fees will be refunded, less a $50 administrative fee, for cancellations received by this date.
